In trying to print envelopes on the Elite XL 608 using Microsoft Word
on an iMac with Leopard, I seemed to have lost or corrupted something.
When I select the name of the person's envelope from the list I have,
the envelope comes into view with its address as usual, but when I
select print, the preview box shows the envelope, but the address is
missing---completely blank. It will go through the printer, but will
be blank.

Try this:
Word | Preferences | Print--make sure "drawing objects" is checked. The
envelope tool puts the address in a text box, which is a type of drawing
object.

Daiya, Thank you so much- you are brilliant- I have been struggling with blank pages for over a year, when I tried to print envelopes, I even bought a new printer and updated the driver! This tip worked! Now maybe you can tell me how to print from Adobe Acrobar 6.0.2 Professional! I get nothing but a freeze whenever I try this.
Thanks so much for the solution to the blank envelopes.

Sorry Marge, we can't tell you *anything* until we know what version of
software and operating system you have.

When I print an envelope the printer prints 2 copies. I have to cancel print after each command. I am using the Xerox Phaser 6130. Any suggestions?

Now my invitations for my non profit events will have the appropriate appearance for our mission!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

I have a similar problem printing envelopes. When I select a name and address, and then the "envelopes" command, I only get the first line (the name) in the envelope window. I assume it's a flaw in the program, and not anything that I'm doing.
And it's very annoying.

Try the suggestion I made to Michele - use Shift+Return to keep the address
block as a single paragraph rather than Return. If you provide details about
you versions & hardware it will help further evaluation of the problem.
