I have browsed and searched...
In Office 2007, merging Excel values into Word, is there any way to ensure
cells with more than 255 characters are trnasferred in their entirety?

I believe there is, but I'm not sure it's exactly the same in PC Word as it
is in Mac Word - this is the newsgroup for the latter. If you follow the
link below you'll find the correct group - there is one dedicated to mail
merge issues:

Have a look at http://tips.pjmsn.me.uk/t0003.htm and see if any of the
suggestions in there works for you. (Unfortunately there is no single
solution for this problem).

That's an impressive exposition of problems using an Excel Workbook as a
data source for a Word mailmerge, Peter!

(Did you know that on your home page you still have: "There aren't any tips
here yet. But there will eventually be a full catalogue of tips"?)

Cheers,

Clive

No, I'd forgotten, so thanks for the reminder. Unfortunately I am probably
about to forget again :-)
