Mac Forum / Applications / Word / June 2007Cannot Send from .mac
Listers, Both my Cox POP account and my .mac IMAP account send out on the same SMTP port #25. Cox overrides (?) .mac, and I cannot send from the latter. How do I fix this? Is there another port besides #25 that I can use to send from Apple?  SignatureeMac G4/1.25GHz 768 MB RAM OSX 10.4.10 (Tiger) Office 2004 (11.3.5) And this is related to Microsoft Word exactly HOW?? :-) ISPs are doing a whole lot of strange and desperate things to try to dam the deluge of spam choking their networks. Port 25 is actually the "old" port for SMTP.
