I mean, that all following posts are indented, while the original post
stays at the left side of the page.

Hi Rafael:
Yeah, filthy top-posters stuffing up your user experience. Shoot them
all!!! :-)
To have real "control" over how a newsgroup appears, you need to be using a
newsreader, not a web browser.
See here:
http://word.mvps.org/mac/accessnewsgroups.html
To be have proper control over the display of a newsgroup, you really need a
newsreader that correctly threads by "Reference". Entourage does NOT.
However, Entourage is far nicer to use, so I live with it: I have made
myself a Custom Arrangement tat sorts first by Subject and then by "Sent"
time. That gets close enough for me.
Threading by reference is nice when the Reference field is correctly
populated, but many web interfaces to USENET these days don't do that, in
which case a "Thread by Reference" newsreader can give you a display worse
than the simple "Thread by sorting" technique I use.
There is a list of "real" newsreaders here:
http://www.newsreaders.com/mac/clients.html
Cheers
