Some recipients of my attachments are unable to open a simple Word document, and some are. I click the "send windows friendly attachments". It is happening more and more frequently. Often the problem is with the recipient's email client/antivirus/permissions (or lack thereof). If they can't read the saved file, you can try zipping the file first - I've had a number of clients whose email servers appeared to mangle Office document attachments. |
