Hi,

Thanks for the previous information on assign keystroke to
applications.

New Question:

In a "Page X of Y",  can a default be made to have the "Page X of Y"
be on "alignment right".  Also, with these pg numbers, can a default
font size be made?  In other words, if my text size in the body of my
page is 12 pt, can I default the page number size to 9 pt. ?

Thanks,

Rafael

Yes and yes.

In more detail.
If you want the page numbers on the right of the page, add another tab.
If you want the numbers to be right aligned, just preface the number in
the template with a right aligned tab, but see the answer to part 2

Part the 2
You can set font and size and just about anything in the style of the
page number text. The style defaults to "footer", but I'm sure you can
call it RafaelPurplePageNumberStyle if you like. Use the same format »
style modify tool you use for anything else.

The "default" aspect is the usual "It is in the template".

If you don't have an explicit template, edit ~/Documents/Microsoft User
Data/Normal as though it were an ordinary Word document. But do save it
back there as a Word template.
It seems that you may not be able to get to the footer until you have
some text entered in the body of normal, which is stupid. Just delete
the body text when you are happy with the footer. There are other
useful games you play with having the first page of each section differ
from later pages. By the time you get that esoteric, Normal is not the
right template to use. You will almost certainly prefer to create a
range of templates for different situations.
