dividing the page

Hi,
I am looking for a way to divide the page in word.  I was able to do
this in wordperfect so that I could make "cards" with questions on them
and have the same header on each "card".  I have tried labels but the
header is placed at the top of the entire page so that when I cut up
each section, the header is not there.  I also want to be able to
number each "card" 1 out of 10 or 4 out of 16, etc.   In wordperfect, I
was able to do this by subdividing the page which was an option in page
setup.  then whatever formatting I applied to the "card" #1 applied to
each card seperately.

Could someone please help?

Thanks a bunch,

This is much easier to do in Excel. Especially the arithmetic.
Also, you can play with row heights and column widths to get the card
layout beautifully matched to your printer.

If you must do it in Word, try abusing the n-up printing option. ;-)
