Greetings
I have:
iMac G5
Mac OS X10.4.7
Word 11.2
I often use the Forms facility - in tables.
My frustration that sometimes after I have filled in a form - I find a
(usually minor) error in the form - e.g. recently I found that in the form
text a heading was marked "keep with next" - but once the form was filled in
- with multiple lines in some fields this led to ridiculous pagination.
The frustration is that I cannot find a way to unprotect the form, fix the
minor error, then protect the form again without losing everything (and it
can be quite a bit!) that has been entered in the fields.
My first thought was- why not just cut and paste the filled in fields to a
new version of the form - (they are usually down one column of a table) -
but the contents of the fields won't cut and paste.
So - to restate the original frustration -
How can I unprotect then protect a filled in form WITHOUT using the contents
of all the fields?
Looking forward to a helpful response.
Regards

I haven't had occasion to use this in Mac Word, but it may be what you're
loking for even though the article is PC Word oriented. If there is a
problem loading the page in Safari click the refresh button once or twice.
