I use Word X for Mac service release 1 on a G4 laptop  and...
when I type stuff in a word doc. and the cursor drops to the next line
it creates a capital
letter at the beginning of the line. happens when i'm writing emails as
well.

Anyone know what and where I go to correct this? I scanned the word
preferencves but found nothing I understood that would address this.

Hi Manning,

Go to Tools> AutoCorrect and you'll immediately see which option to uncheck.
While you're there, explore other options that you may want to shut off!
