How do you go about changing the look of the office assistant ?!?!

The only option I have is the crappy looking square computer.

Thanks

Hi J,

Only Max is available with office 2004. If you want the older ones, copy
from Office X, if it's still on the computer. Or, if you have the CD from
the previous version, you can install them from there. It seems that you use
this feature, can you let me know where you find it useful and how.and where
you do not find it useful. Your feedback is very important to us.

Thanks,

Priyanka

Especially since at least a few of us are telling MS that we never use
Office Assistants, and that they should go away forever...!! <g>

Hi J:

Don't you DARE tell Priyanka that you use that infernal thing!!!  We've been
trying to kill it off for YEARS :-)

We are well aware that Clippy and Max have now achieved underground "cult"
status in the IT community.  But I represent the Forces of Not Having Fun At
Work, here to sanitise your Mac.  We offer a range of inexpensive Max
solutions that will dissolve your hard drive and remove that "thing" from
your computer :-)

Cheers

Office 2004 only came with that single assistant.

However, if you have access to the CD for Office 98, Office 2001, or Office
X, you can install the assistants from there. Simply drag them from the
Value Pack on the CD to this location on your current hard drive:

Applications:Microsoft Office 2004:Office:Assistants:

Quit all Office programs first. Once the files are in the right location,
they should show up as options.

Hi,

If you're looking for something really different there's even a special
Office assistant in older asian language versions of Office.

I never liked clippy, but I do like the butler. My mom loves cats and
thinks scribble is great.
