I have about several Wordperfect documents that I would like to convert to
Word 2003. I am looking for instructions for some type of batch conversion
process.  Any ideas?

Hi Whatever Your name is:

Why ask us?  They're both PC products, and this is a Macintosh group :-)

However, if you search around in the Microsoft Help for Word 2003 you will
find that it does have a batch Conversion Wizard, and that it will open
WordPerfect documents if you install the supplementary converter.

The converter will not work well, particularly not with WP10 documents.  You
will get a much better result by first saving out of WP in RTF format.

Note:  Converting from WP to Word is not a good idea for documents you want
to edit and re-use.  The internal structure of a document is dramatically
different between the two.

Far better to save the document as Plain Text in WordPerfect, then re-format
it completely in Word.  You will get a much better document that will be
robust and easy to work with.

Hope this helps
