Word 2004 Mac: In outline mode: Outline toolbar disappears, document page size readjusts, then toolbar reappears, page document window readjusts... keeps repeating this process...any thoughts what is going on here? But reproducible problems like this in Word usually respond to one of the standard troubleshooting measures, which you will find listed here: <http://word.mvps.org/mac/TroubleshootingIndex.html> The most common culprit is a corrupted Normal template or damaged Preferences file but it could be one of the other issues listed. Either way, my first thought is a macro problem of some kind (potentially: a virus). Have you run a Virus scan? It may be a corrupt document, but I have not seen a corrupt document produce this indication. It may be a haxie: have you installed anything recently?
