When I try to select the Insert-Picture-Clip Art  command I get an error

Hi Michael,

I'm not sure what's going on, but try repairing disk permissions using the
OS X Disk Utility.

If that doesn't help, post back and be sure to give us your OS and
Office/Word version numbers and update levels.

Hi Michael:

I'm taking a wild guess here...  Try starting Entourage and make sure it
starts without error.

I believe the Clip Art function employs the database in the Microsoft User
Data folder to store your favourites.  If something is preventing your user
ID from accessing the MUD, that would do it.

For other applications to access your Entourage database, the Entourage
Database Daemon must be running, pointing to the correct Entourage Identity,
and you must have permission to access that Identity.

If you start Entourage, it will check all of this at start up.  It will
install the Daemon in your user startup preference so it is always running,
and it will prompt you for and warn you if it can't get access to the MUD.

After that, you don't need to run Entourage at all if you don't need it.

Cheers

Michael posted from Entourage so that's not it :-).  Michael, did you try
repairing disk permissions yet?

Beth
