I am very pleased to announce the total redesign of the Word:mac site at
word.mvps.org!  No longer will Safari users have to "hit Reload once or
twice or better yet, use another browser."  The new site is altogether
Safari-friendly.

For those of you who are interested in Web design info:  The redesign was
done using Dreamweaver 8 on the Mac and utilizes CSS 2.  It is virtually
table-less and totally frame-less.  (And it *almost* validates at the W3C
site.  We've got one error left and we'd welcome any suggestions for
resolving it ­ sent directly to me, please, not to the newsgroup.)

Oh, yes ... I almost forgot to tell you how to find it :-).

If you try to access a URL from the old site, you will be redirected to the
new; but please make a note of the new URL.  You'll get pretty tired of
looking at the redirect page if you don't :-).

Let me also take this opportunity to encourage any of you who are interested
in writing an article for the site to contact us.  Even though the site is
owned by the Word and MacWord MVPs, we welcome appropriate articles from all
sources (and no one gets paid, especially us :-).  Check with me (or Daiya
or John McGhie) to be sure the topic you'd like to write about isn't already
spoken for and then, when it's finished, submit it to us for review.
