I open a word document sent via email from a friend. If I use the
sliding bar on the righthand side of the screen or the page down button
to move the document down, the text in the middle of the document
begins to repeat over and over and over regardless of where the cursor
is located. Anyone know why this is happening and more importantly, how
do I fix it???? Thanks

Hi Lisa,

It may be that the document is corrupt.  To test that possibility, turn on
the Show/Hide formatting tool (the pilcrow ¶), copy all but the very last
paragraph in the document and paste into a new blank document window.  Does
that help?
