Hi,

I have a letter that I want to email to a number of contacts with the same
subject line but with individual email address and with the contact name
correct within the text of each email. Is there a way that I can do this
with Entourage and word for Mac??

Thanks

Ian

Yep.

The basic process:

In Word, select Tools | Data Merge Manager, and work your way through that
palette.  Create a Form Letter merge, and under Get Data select Office
Address Book.  Drag the name fields from the palette into the form letter as
appropriate.

Down at the bottom of the merge palette, there are icons for "merge to doc"
"merge to printer" and "merge to email".

Next to Merge to Email, there is a Query Options button that will let you
limit the merge to just certain contacts, by either category or name. Limit
as desired.

When you select Merge to Email, it will ask you for a subject line.  It will
use the default email address for each person.

I just did a test with one names and this worked no problem, but I would say
check your work and it might require a little experimentation to get it
perfect if you are not familiar with data merge at all. Or post back with
questions.
