How do I put a solid color as the background without using a template?

Hi Heather -

You need to create a filled shape or insert an image on the Master Page -
there is no feature to "Change Paper Color".

Now answer one for me :-) HOW are you managing to run Word/Office 2008 on
Jaguar???? Office 2008 requires Tiger 10.4.9 or later.
