My client has had a word document sent to him in word 2007 format. He has
installed the microsoft converter so that he can view the document. The issue
is that the document is 12 pages long and when he goes to read the last page
it then starts to expanding to 65 pages.
If you open the same document in worrd 2007 it is all ok.
Please could somebody help.

The versions & converters you're referring to are Windows based & this is
the news group for Word on the Mac. Although someone may have an answer here
you'll be far more likely to get a response faster if you post to one of the

The document sounds corrupt.
Try using File | Open and Repair, or other fixes detailed here:
http://word.mvps.org/faqs/apperrors/corruptdoc.htm
especially Save as Web Page.
However, you’ve landed in a MacWord group (not your fault, one of the
web interfaces is *very* badly designed). If that doesn't work, don't
post follow-up questions here, instead go to the general Word
newsgroups. Start here:
