My MacBook is running on OSX 10.5.3
I just downloaded the newest version of Word.Mac2008, version 12.1.1
I hoped the error would disappear
But the error remains when srtarting Word
In dutch I get the message:
De aangepaste woordenlijst "Aangepaste woordenlijst" is niet beschikbaar
In english (I will try to translate):
The adapted wordlist (or vocabulary?) "The adapted wordlist" is not available"
And the the button OK
When I installed Word on my Mac this error did not exist but due to may be a update thi occured
Excuse for my enlish, I was born and live in the Netherlands.
Can you help?

Hi Stevie,
Well, it translates in Word's technical terms as "The Custom Dictionary
is not available." There have been a lot of reports of this, that's how
I know. :-) (If you click Add during a spelling check, the words are
saved in your custom dictionary.)
Uh, try this:
Go to Word | Preferences | Spelling and Grammar, select your custom
dictionary and click Edit. Make a small change to it and resave it.
That has worked for some people in the past.
PS. No need to paste your email--people responding will assume that you
will check back to see answers and not email you directly. Also, posting
your email exposes it to spammers.
