Windows XP Home
IE7
============
I lost Microsoft Works 7.0.- I have several files under Microsoft Word 2002
that I do not want to loose.

Could I reload the Works Suite 2003 (Microsoft Works Suite 2003 Setup,
Microsoft Works 7.0, Microsoft Word 2002, Microsoft Works Clipart) without
affecting the files that I have under Word 2002?

Please advise.

Thank you.

In general, reloading a program will not affect Word files you have
created. However, to feel entirely safe, you should first backup the
files that are important to you--email them to yourself (gmail accounts,
with lots of storage, are good for this), copy them to a flash drive,
burn them to a CD, or something. It's always a good idea to backup
important files before installing or doing other system-related things
on your computer.

If you have further questions, however, you'll have to ask
elsewhere--this is actually a MacWord group and no one here knows much
about MS Works. Look again for a Works newsgroup, or maybe try a
Word/Office group here:
