I'm using XP with Word 2003. Suddenly whenever I try to open Word, the
Windows Installer starts up but always fails because it can't find file
PA561401.CAB, and tells me to reinstall. I'm sorry but I find this a pain,
but I can't find any way to get rid of it. What to do?

Sorry, you’ve landed in a MacWord group (not your fault, one of the web
interfaces is *very* badly designed). You might get an answer from the
people here who use both Windows and Mac, but you should try asking your
question on the general Word newsgroups.  Start here:

Thanks, Daiya, I scrolled and scrolled and scrolled down a very long popup
menu list looking for Windows Word but couldn't find it and thought I had
finally gotten as close as I was going to get when I found Word. Your link
took me just where I needed to be.
