I am running OS 10.4, WMP 9.0. When attempting to play a .wmv file, I get the
message "This file may not play correctly because it was compressed by using
a codec that is not supported."

The file uses Windows Media Audio 9.1 audio codec, and Windows Media Video 9
Image v2 video codec.

File opens, loads, but only plays audio content.

Help this dedicated Mac user!

You could try to see if you have a better luck with the Flip4Mac codecs
for QuickTime (shareware, but you could at least try the demo before
buying).
