Well my name is on the MS web site somewhere on:
https://mvp.support.microsoft.com/communities/mvplist.aspx?Product=Consu
mer+-+Macintosh
or on:
http://www.microsoft.com/mac/community/community.aspx?pid=newsgroups
(careful about the carriage returns).
It tells you that even though I don't work for MS, I've been
acknowledged by them and have *some very limited* possibilities to
escalade such problems.
Now if you don't trust me, you can always use the two pages I mentioned
before to report the problem directly to them

They hardly ever post in any of their newsgroups. The purpose of these
groups is not for them to offer support but it's a purely peer to peer
help system. To somehow improve this, they created the MVP program and
I've also heard that though they don't post in them, they often read
many of these groups (I'm not sure they read this one though).

We'll see if they respond to your report.
