Media Player Now Won't Play

Media Player had been working just fine until earlier this week when it
refused to open and still refuses. I have download MP Ver 9 several times
and still no luck and I have update all of my OS X software too. My IBook
has a G3 running at 800mhz and OS Ver 10.3.9 and 640 MB of SDRAM with 20+ gig
of free hard drive space.

Other symptoms include a bouncing icon on the Doc but not shown as
running on Force Quit. Thanks for any suggestions. Walker, Austin, TX

You should trash the pref file aand the .plist for WMP from the
~/Library/Preferences folder (the one in your user account).
It's a fairly frequent issue.
