WMP won't open

Pls Help...I have a G-5 with Panther. WMP was operating fine until yesterday.
Now when I try to open WMP the ICON in the doc bounces and shows the
options...show in finder...hide...force quit as if the program is running but
no windows open. Also double clicking on a WMV movie has the same results. I
have removed the old WMP and downloaded another WMP but have the same results
with the new one. Anyone have this problem or ideas on what the problem might
be.

Trash the pref file and the .plist, repair permissions and try again. It
usually helps.
