A lot of Mac users have problems to receive wmv-streams that are embedded in a website in an ActiveX-control. Others tell me they even do not receive direct links to a wmv-file delivered by a windows media server. I am not used to Mac OS and wonder what´s going wrong. A friend of mine using MacOS X had no problem with it. Only IE for Mac supports Active-X - and very few Active-X commands. 99% of the time it's a huge no-no. > I am not used to Mac OS and wonder what´s going wrong. Others even don´t get it with the IE. It could be that the corresponding MIME types are not properly registered ont he machines that can't play the files.
