Mac Forum / Applications / Media Player / December 2004Can't play WMV files, error message says I need WMP 9, I *am* using WMP 9
I am unable to play a WMV file that a friend sent over. The error message states that I need WMP 9 to view the file. I just downloaded WMP 9 today, so I assume I have the latest version ... You probably need a codec you don't have anyway in the Mac version of WMP9 (or the file uses DRM 7).
