I wish to move music files from windows media player to itunes allowing me to
download to my ipod.   The files are protected and will not move, is there a
way of transfering them...........or unprotecting them?

Most software offer options to de-register a computer and re-register
another one, which allows you to transfer DRM protected files. In this
case, it's probably worthless since you can't register a Mac for DRM 7
with WMP.

I usually don't provide tricks for working around DRMs. A while ago,
though, some people at MS suggested a trick going through burning Audio
CDs from Apple's iTunes Music Store and reimporting them in WMP on
WIndows... Use your imagination ;-)) I'm sure you can figure out
something that would work for you the other way around ;-)))
