I've got OS 10.1.5....have downloaded Windows Media Player 9...BUT!!!!: If i try to downlaod a wmv. file..i just get a page of letters/numbers/gobledeygook!!!! IF i try to open the file using the Media player and the URL:still no luck!!!! Try downloading the file in the Finder, do command-i on it to select what application to open it with. Chose WMP and apply to all. Then you should be able to open the file in WMP by double-clicking it. Does it work ?? Maybe the file type has not been properly set in the Internet Config database for WMP. You can manually enter them all through Internet Explorer (it will write it in the Internet Config Database for all browsers).
