Mac Forum / Applications / Media Player / November 2004WMP, plays audio, no video
I am using a iMac G3, OS 9.1, WMP ver. 7.1.2.1268, IE 5.1.7 I haven't installed any new software for a long time but I can't get any video from any source, except for the sample WMV in the folder. I have deleted the preference file and rebooted to install a new one. I have de-installed the player and all associated files and down-loaded a new installer. Nothing helps. My anti-virus is up-to-date. I have rebuilt the desktop several times, zapped the PRAM also. I have run disk first aid 10 times repeated. I use Office Mac 2001 with Entourage. This is a recent problem, I have successfully used WMV before. Any clue you can give is appreciated. Thanks I have solved the problem. I used "Disk Warrior" and it defragged my directories and cleaned-up my disk. The WMP now works fine! Thanks for all of your suggestions! > I have solved the problem.
