this is my was my post: !!! not only was my post erased from this board, it looks like microsoft also removed the url that my post referenced. can someone from microsoft contact me about this at webmaster@extremefineart.com. i have a number of users that are using mac os 9 and this is very important. also why was my post removed?!?!? That's weird. It's the frist time I hear that MS would have deleted a post (except for spam). Are you sure it's not a problem with a relay server that would not have been up to date ??? Why did Microsoft change the codec, then not update the player? There must be some kind of conspiracy going on against Mac OS Classic. I sent a request to Microsoft to fix this. I suggest others send them a complaint also. I think that this will never happen :-( and to be honest, I'd first want to get everything we had in 7.1 (MacOS 9) in WMP9 (many codecs didn't make it) and then get on to new features in the new version...
