Mac Forum / Applications / Media Player / July 2008Vinyl AC 97 Codec Combo Device (WDM)
Off and on I have had trouble with the sound device skipping. Sometimes it corrected itself after I defragmented or virus scanned but then it returned. I can find no updates for this and am wondering (I have a Compaq Presario 6000) if perhaps I can reinstall the drivers from the original CD if that is possible without redoing the whole system or is this skipping problem solveable in a simple way. Perplexed I would guess so. Actually I don't see why you couldn't.
