I have a network of computers in my house. On two of them I am running
Windows xp with Service pack 2 and Media PLayer 11 . When I play dvr-ms
files back on the family room computer from the office computer it works
great. When I try the same thing on the bedroom computer I get audio but no
video ans a message the Media Player hes stopped responding. I think I know
what the problem is but don't know how to repair it. I believe that the
decode file is missing for dvr-ms. When I go into Media player on the family
room computer click on tools, options , files I see the dvr-ms file checked
for decoding. If I look on the bedroom computer there is no dvr-ms file. So
I do believe that this is my problem. I get don't know where to get a copy
of the file. The only down loads that I have found on Microsoft deal with
that problem on service pack 1 and will not work on sewrvice pack 2. Naybe I
just don't know where to look.
I would welcome any help

You're in the wrong newsgroup then. This is the newsgroup for the Mac
version of WMP.
You should probably repost in the regular WMP newsgroup to find a better
answer :-\
