I am in the same problem as someone else was.  I have a "Sansa" MP# player
purchased in December.  It loads as a mass storage device, so it came with no
software disk of it's own.  It worked fine for months, then last week, it
would not "connect" with the computer.  After speaking with Sansa, and many
others to isolate where the problem was, they reccommended that I upload MTP
portal kit.  I did.  As soon as it was finished uploading, I started getting
the found new hardware tab in the lower right corner of the display.  It will
not go away.  I have even un-installed the MTP kit, and it is still popping
up.  Please direct?  I have windows XP Home edition, all of my updates are
current
