I'm running XP with WMP 11.0 and I'm able to play DVD's but no video is
displayed. I have volume just no picture. Any ideas?

Then you're in the wrong newsgroup, this is the place for WMP for Mac
discussions.

Do you have a DVD decoder installed, according to DecCheck ?
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=DE1491AC-0AB6-4990-943D

It may list several decoders - if you've recently installed some video
editing software, that could have stomped on a previously installed
decoder (in XP you may be able to adjust the decoder priority to one
suitable for playback in WMP)
