WMP 11 Playlist format

I recently bought a CD label maker that included a software package. It only
allows importing WMP playlists in .asx, .wax, and .wvx formats. Windows Media
Player 11 saves playlists in .wpl format. I assume previous versions of WMP
used those old formats for playlists

Can I just change the extension, or is there a conversion routine floating
around to change .wpl to .wax?

Thanks.

Hum... you are in the newsgroup for the Mac version of WMP (and we sure
don;t have a version 11),

You might want to repost in one of the regular WMP groups,

Sorry, I have no idea how I got here. I thought I did a search for "WMP 11"
and now I see I am in the wrong place.

Yeah, it's a vicious circle.
Some people posted here by mistake about WMP11, and now everybody doing
a serach on this keyword ends-up here :->
It's not a major deal, but the chances that you'll get a proper answer
to your question here is pretty slim...
