I am running Windows XP Home.  I cannot open up WMP.  If I uninstall WMP and
then reinstall WMP, will I lose all of my music files???

I am not sure if the problem is from ccleaner or Apple's Quicktime update.

They you should probably be posting in one of the regular WMP groups
since this is the one for the Mac version :-)

I think I can safely answer that question though: uninstalling WMP
shoudl leave all your personal data intact. The uninstaller only takes
care of the app itself.

In any case, it never hurts to make a backup..... ;-)

Older versions of ccleaner have been known to hose WMP's uninstaller,
rendering it effectively useless. Unless you *know* you used the most
recent version, from their website rather than a 3rd party file
sharing site, then it could be bad news.

Quicktime normally associates itself with several file types that WMP
may also handle - but that's recoverable if your only problem is that
Quicktime opens when you expected WMP to - post back if that's the
case and I'll walk you through re-associating WMP with the normal file
types it uses that QUicktime might grab.
