Unable To Play Protected Content Using MP 11

When I upgraded my MB and CPU I can no longer play any protected content such
as movies. I can play videos as long they are not licensed. I used registry
repair software and I think this only made the issue worse. Is there anyway
I can repair this? My operating system is windows xp prof SP 2. Media
player version is 11.05721.5230. I tried MS but that was a waste of time.
They want a fee of 59.00 before I can request assistance.

You shoudl probably repost in one of the regular WMP groups. THis is the
group for the Mac version of WMP (and I have no clue as to what you
should do),
