Windows Media Player in English

I live in France and have just bought a new Computer obviously everything is
in French, is it possible to download Windows Media Player in English? If so
how? I have tried downloading but it just updates the French version. Have
tried deleting French version first but machine wont let me do it.

In MacOS X, you can go to the System Preferences>International and
select English as the default langiage. After a reboot, all
multi-lingual apps will then be in English,
