2 sites I visit use WMP9 technology and specifically mono audio codecs 9.0
and 9.2. On both I receive streaming video w/o any audio.
I am able to receive all other audio and stereo audio just not from the
sites using the mono 9.0 and 9.2 codecs. Windows XP does not allow me to
intsall either of these codecs. IS there a backward compatibility problem in
WMP11?
Yes I do have all the o/s and IE updates.

Hum... you posted this message in the WMP for Mac group (And we're stuck
at 9). You might want to repost in one of the regular WMP groups,

It's probably this problem with a badly configured AC3 filter :

Like Korventeen said, this is a Mac group ;-)
