Windows Media Player 11 for XP

WMP11 was working fine until I swapped out a movie disk. Now I cannot launch
the program. Whether I try to launch from the start menu, quick launch bar,
or shortcut, the little hour glass pops up for about a second and then goes
away with no result. No error messages or any other activity. The program
just stopped working. Any suggestions?

On a Mac??? Where did you find a version 11???

(this is the group for the Mac version of WMP and we don't have a
version 11 - or 10 - or a 9 that actually works :-> — you might want to
repost in one of the regular WMP groups)

No, not on a Mac. Windows XP. Home built machine
