Mac Forum / Applications / Media Player / October 2007Album Info Updates change songs
Hello all, I do see quite a few similar posts here, but im not sure if mine is quite the same I am running Windows Vista Home Premium, with WMP 11. I have ripped approx. 7 songs from a mix cd. They were all in Windows media player already, each with all their album info, songs, artists, everything already done for them. I noticed about a week ago that one of the album art sections was blank, so I clicked find Album info, just like when I originally loaded the songs. It then brought all 7 songs into the same album, and changed most of their info to match that of the first song. Now as I understand it from reading some other posts here, it is because when I ripped the cd originally, it marked all 7 songs as being from the same album. However, When I originally loaded these songs in August, they all updated individually just fine. I have also read that there is a option to 'find info for this song only', however, I cannot seem to find it. Any help would be appreciated.
