WMP Ver 11.0.5721.5145; WinXP Home Edition, Ver 2002, SP2, Intel Pentium(R) 4
CPU 2.40 GHz, 1.50 GB RAM
Dear Sirs,
I was having no difficulty going onto www.live-radio.net and listening to
radio stations until I used WMP to play 1 CD.  (I normally don't use WMP
because I find it too complicated. I had loaded RealPlayer & even though the
file was marked WMP, RP did perfectly well.) Now, I get the following error
messages: C00D1198 and C00D109B.  I followed everything they said to do, as
well as possible. I enabled WMP for the .asf files as requested, and turned
them off in RealPlayer.  I am not that computer literate and don't understand
how to find which codec WMP needs, but I gave all the permissions required,
both through IE and my firewall, ZoneAlarm Pro (ZAP). ZAP has always been the
major factor in any difficulty & this process has always worked with
everything.  This didn't help at all.
Continued to get the same messages.
I don't know why playing only 1 CD in WMP suddenly changed everything, but
now I can do nothing with any of the stations I had been listening to before.
Can anyone give me some instructions that a beginner might be able to
understand?  I have a little experience, but had a car accident that affected
the logic function & can no longer follow a lot of technical detail.
Thank you very much for your assistance,
Julia Henson

You might consider reposting in a regular WMP group then since this is
the group for the Mac version of WMP ;-)
