when I try to download- suddenly goes from "connecting" to media options-
then this error message comes up

You have encountered error message C00D11CD

I have windows 98- don't laugh- I know

& media series 9 - I think

Wellllllllllllllll, the problem is not really the "98" part. It's mostly
the Windows part.....
You're in the wrong newsgroup. This is the newsgroup for the Mac version
of WMP.
You should probably repost in the regular WMP newsgroup to find a better
answer :-\
