I already downloaded stuffit expander. so I downloaded wmp and windows media
installer came up. I clicked on it and it succesfully finished download, but
when I open the WMP folder in my application there is a file named Lecteur
Windows Media. When I try to open that file, it says "you cannot open the
application "lecteur windows media" because it may be damaged or incomplete.
What should i try next?

Weird.... Expanding the .bin file with Stuffit Expander should give you
an installer. DOuble-clicking it would then allow you to actually
install the app.
I would re-download and re-attempt to expand it just in case the archive
arrived corrupted.

BTW, any reason you want to install WMP9 itself and not the Flip4Mac WMV
codecs instead (considering that they're free and work 200 times better
than WMP under MacOS X)?
