I have WMP 9 and Flip4Mac and on some sites/ pages that I try to watch video
I get an error message "WMP cannot play this file because the  Player does
not support this file format". Does anyone know how to fix this? I have a Mac
OSX 10.4.8, and I have tried to play the video in both Safari and Firefox.
For ex. I can play this http://www.cbc.ca/thehour/video.php?id=930 but not
this http://www.cbc.ca/thehour/video.php?id=1382

Did you actually enable Flip4Mac according to the instructions ?

It'd have to be enabled in system preferences, and the message should
come from Quicktime not WMP, which might explain why you're seeing WMP
messages.

Yes I have done that.

This is weird. The message is a WMP error message (that's fairly
frequent actually). Flip4Mac should disable this (you could see other
error mesasges, but not this one).

I would suggest re-downloading and reinstalling the Flip4Mac package to
let it properly disable WMP and get rid of that problem.
