When playing a mpeg file that is on my HD, it stops playing after 5 sec.  The
seek slider keeps on moving.  If I click on the slider, the video will start
playing again (where it left off) for another 5 sec.  I can play the whole
video, if I keep clicking on the slider every 5 sec.

Size of file doesn't matter.  Only have problem with some mpeg files that
were sent to me....different formats maybe??

Wrong newsgroup.... You're in the group for the Mac version of WMP.

No big deal. It's just that the chances you'll find an answer to your
question here are more than slim ;-)
