My computer is working fine but when I open up WMP my computer seems to
suddenly lag as though i was running some taxing apps. I can run any
aplication (only one, explorer for example) fine and as soon as i open WMP it
all lags pretty bad as soon as i close WMP (which takes awhile bacause it is
lagging) everything goes back to normal. Even my volume control lags (volume
control is digital, i have a portable and use a function key and volume up to
turn the computer volume up and a green bar goes across the bottom of my
screen. This lags too while WMP is running). While it is open it will play
music fine but it takes a few seconds and when i tab from "now playing" to
"library" it takes about 5sec. All menus take about the same time to open in
and out of WMP includong my start menu. WMP has worked initially before and i
have plenty of HD space, ram should ot be used up, no other applicatonsare
running. I have defraged, restarted and run error checking on my volume.

my thougts while writing this is to check in another user, and try to
redownload WMP.

Is there anything else that i can do to get WMP running smothe again?
