Windows Media Player 10 no longer works for files recorded with earlier
version codec.  Documented fix is to reinstall Meida Player 10.

I tried reinstalling, but site detects Media Edition 2002 ( my OS) as XP
and sends me to Media Player 11 which, of course,  will not install as it is
not supported by Media Edition 2002.

Tried unistalling Media Player 10 but the roll back failed.   Bascially I am
stuck in a loop; need to reinstall Media Player 10 but can't get to it
without being booted to Media Player 11 which won't work.

Any helpful ideas out there?

This is a Mac (i.e. macintosh) media player group.

The download you're looking for should come directly from this page
