Hello. I am trying to download windows media player from the microsoft
website. In order to do so I am required to download the GenuineCheck.exe
program to validate that I have a genuine edition of Windows. I downloaded
this GenuineCheck program but my computer asks me to "choose and application"
to run it. Which application should I choose. My computer doesnt have a
default set. Please help! Thanks

Wrong newsgroup (or you downlaoded the wrong version of the app).
You're inthe Windwos Media Player for *Mac* newsgroup :-)
